Since its inception, Zoomcar has expanded to 45 cities in India and has become the de facto car rental choice in the nation.

At Zoomcar, the primary revenue stream is through their car rental program. And for obvious reasons, Zoomcar has to ensure that car bookings are as hassle-free as possible. While Zoomcar had a steady influx of traffic with over a million visitors per month on their website, the team at Zoomcar predicted that there is a considerable amount of traffic that could be converted, especially those lost to user drop-off events.

Zoomcar partnered with Vizury to leverage it’s smart Facebook marketing platform. Using Vizury’s FMP expertise, Zoomcar devised various customer retargeting and retention tactics with Facebook advertising. These ads targeted Facebook’s app and web users based on Vizury’s smart segments.

2.5X Increase in Conversions with Vizury’s Personalized Targeting Algorithm

Vizury’s Facebook bidding algorithm identified the trends and behavior of the top converting users and created a customer cohort to target future prospects. Zoomcar was able to leverage Vizury and calculate customer’s “purchase propensity score”. The score is calculated using 40+ variables like past booking, time spent on app, hours since last drop-off and others.

Users were mapped to different ad sets based on their propensity score and it resulted in :

Increase by 2.5X in conversions and bookings.

10% improvement in app generated revenue.

3X increase in sales figures.
